Over more than two decades of caring for patients, Dr. Ries has walked alongside countless seniors and their families through one of life's hardest transitions: leaving the home they've known for decades for a place that feels nothing like one. Even the best-intentioned facilities — multi-story buildings, long hallways, stretched-thin staff — too often foster isolation and turn away from wellness at the very moment it matters most.
Together with his wife Becky, whose career as a licensed physical therapist assistant gives her deep insight into mobility, aging, and quality of life, he envisioned something different: the highest level of care and attention, delivered in a luxurious place residents truly call home — with the love and expert support families expect for the people they love most.
The result is Gracewell — two boutique, luxury homes where intimate scale builds real relationships between residents, families, and caregivers, and where every daily rhythm is shaped around comfort, love, wellness, and connection.
